A static QR code carries its target inside the pattern. Nothing is requested when scanning — technically there is no place where anyone could count. This generator also computes the code entirely in your browser. Your address, Wi-Fi password or contact details never reach our server. We could not store them even if we wanted to.
Printed stickers cannot be changed — the destination behind them can, if the code runs through our service. You then also see how often it was scanned and can add a logo and colours. That part costs money for an honest reason: a changeable code must run through a server.
